From the Desk of Kenny
I was at a really good networking event on Wednesday at Christ Church Youth Community Centre, in Bootle called “Places Of Welcome”. The idea of the event was to bring people and organisations together to network and learn of each other, for the good of our communities. The ultimate aim is to make more places in our communities “Places of Welcome”. With loneliness and isolation on the rise, it’s so important we look at how we welcome people and how we can sometimes be unintentionally unwelcoming. For more information, have a look at their website https://www.placesofwelcome.org.uk/ or contact me at the parish office.
