Confirmation
Confirmation confirms and strengthens baptismal grace
The essential rite of Confirmation is the anointing with Sacred Chrism (oil mixed with balsam and consecrated by the bishop), which is done by the laying on of the hand of the minister who pronounces the sacramental words “be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” as he anoints the confirmed forehead.
Adults who for whatever reason have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation, as well as those who seek to be Received into the Catholic Church, are requested to contact the Parish Office ( see here for our contact details)
